THE INVITATION cameout of the blue. I couldn’t quite figure out why I was chosen to participate in a delegation of Canadian women leaders to Israel but I accepted with alacrity.
Some of the other names made a lot more sense to me. Jan de Silva, president and CEO of the Toronto Region Board of Trade (and my husband’s boss), and Susan Ross, president and CEO of the Saskatchewan Water Security Agency, are both in positions to facilitate business connections in areas that are key to both our countries. Our group included women involved in the tech sector, government, law and community service.
