Ar ran Merched y Wawr Rhanbarth Aberconwy, cyflwynwyd tlws arbennig yn Eisteddfod Gadeiriol Dyffryn Conwy Llanrwst 2022 gan Alma Dauncey Roberts, Llywydd y Rhanbarth, wedi ei lunio yn gelfydd gan Meinir Wyn er cof am y diweddar Maureen Hughes, Llanrwst. Bu hi’n weithgar iawn yn genedlaethol, yn y rhanbarth ac yng nghangen Carmel. Roedd y tlws i fod i gael ei gyflwyno wedi ei marwolaeth ar drothwy Eisteddfod Genedlaethol Dyffryn Conwy, ond bu rhaid aros tan eleni i gael gwneud hynny. Roedd Maureen wrth ei bodd yn addysgu plant i gystadlu ym myd cerddoriaeth a cherdd dant ac roedd ei chartref yn fwrlwm cyn bob eisteddfod.
