Recap: New York International Numismatic Convention The InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel was abuzz from January 17 through January 19, with the sounds of numismatists buying, appraising, and bidding filling the air at the New York International Numismatic Convention (NYINC). The event is the United States’ largest and most prestigious bourse gathering and specializes in the promotion of foreign and ancient numismatics. Among those in attendance were over 100 specialists in world and ancient numismatic goods, including Justin Meunier of Boardwalk Numismatics. “The NYINC show was fantastic, as always for us,” Meunier explains. “It is a great opportunity to see clients we only get to see once a year from around the world, and our table was pretty much filled the whole time from Thursday opening until we left on…
