“Someone stole my famous recipe!” Marilyn Frawley screeched. Sheriff Charles Jones looked up from his conversation with retired school-teacher and sleuth, Angela Potts, who now consulted for the police department. “Your what?” the sheriff asked, his brow furrowed. “My cake recipe. I need it for the annual Bake-Off next week. But somebody’s snatched it.” Marilyn slumped into a chair next to Angela. The sheriff, looked confused. “Don’t you remember how to bake a cake?” “Of course I do, but this recipe is special. I’ve used it to win the Bake-Off for the last two years.
