“GOOD FRIENDS ARE A BLESSING!” When my dear friend Bonnie told me she desperately needed a car but couldn’t afford to buy one, I offered to sell her mine. I gave her a great price and told her that she could just pay $100 a month. Bonnie was so grateful. And determined to keep up with payments, she gave me a year’s worth of postdated checks to be cashed on the 15th of each month when her husband’s Social Security gets deposited into their bank account. She said she intends to do this until the car is paid off.
