“She made my day!” On my lunch break one day, I went to the drive-thru at a nearby taco shop. As I waited my turn, I counted my change and had just enough for a small bean burrito. I placed my order, but when I got to the pick-up window, the cashier told me, “I’m sorry, but you’re two cents short.” That was all the money I had. Disappointed, I told the cashier that she’d have to cancel my order—I couldn’t afford it. To my surprise, she replied, “That’s okay.” Not only did she pay for my burrito, but she also gave me three free tacos!
