Collecting problems My wife and I both love objects – pictures, cushions, candlesticks, rickety furniture etc – and as a result, our home is full to bursting like an old-school antiques shop. The walls sag under the weight of endless prints and paintings, getting from one side of any room to the other is a daily assault course, and even the garden is generously populated by battered outdoor tables and seats, old benches and even, implausibly, a creaky rocking chair. Add in dogs and visiting offspring (who seem to have inherited the same enthusiasms) and even we have to admit it’s getting out of hand. So I turned to page 25 for a few tips!
