During a fashion internship in 2011, Christine launched a style blog, drawing inspiration from how models posed for photo shoots. But a few years later she faced body image challenges that made her shy away from the camera. "I gained 70 pounds within a year because of medication. I didn't know how to dress myself or where to shop," she says. Finding support within New York City's body-positive community, she adds, "I discovered the way plus-size women used the art of posing to showcase the parts they loved about themselves. I relearned how to use posing to feel comfortable in my skin."
