AAAV Associaton of African American Vintners was founded in 2002 by three Black winemakers to encourage people who looked like them to drink and make wine. Wine professionals came together in May to celebrate two decades of the organization's advocacy in the industry. Highlighting Black-owned wineries, the event included a luncheon and panel discussions. VINITALY The 54th edition of Vinitaly was held this past April in the magical city of Verona. After a two-year hiatus, the four-day Italian wine and spirits exhibition returned, setting a new record for attendance for international buyers. The exhibition featured educational conferences, vertical tastings and thousands of industry professionals and wine and spirits lovers from around the world.
