With knife crime blighting families up and down the country, timely new drama Adolescence follows the experiences of 13-year-old Jamie Miller (Owen Cooper) and his shocked parents when the teenager is arrested on suspicion of stabbing a classmate to death. Boiling Point star Stephen Graham co-wrote the series with award-winning writer Jack Thorne, and also plays Jamie's father Eddie, who accompanies his son through the legal process as Jamie's 'appropriate adult'.
