Sci-fi anthology Black Mirror is back to offer more dystopian tales about our relationship with technology. The series, penned by Charlie Brooker, includes the drama's first sequel, USS Callister: Into Infinity, which revisits the crew of the titular starship, who appeared in an award-winning 2017 instalment.
In the original, Robert Daly (Jesse Plemons) devised an online game, Infinity, and then trapped clones of his office co-workers inside a twisted version of his creation, in which he captained the Callister. But they escaped through a wormhole into the real game, leaving Daly stranded. Now, in the sequel, the team, including blue alien Elena (Milanka Brooks) battle to stay alive when they encounter the game's hostile players on their travels through the galaxy.
'Last time they beat the baddie, but now they're navigating Infinity's gamers and the world they thought was safe is something to flee from,' says Milanka. 'The crew need player credits to survive but they are rogue players who shouldn't be there, so it takes some serious skills.'
