Bruce Parry has lived with remote communities all over the world and joined in with many of their traditions and rituals.
Yet he faces an ordeal when he's asked to suffocate a goat with his bare hands to feed the Mucubal tribe.
'It was the most gruesome thing I've ever done,' says Bruce. 'My first reaction was, "I don't want to do this," but then, "Who am I to judge these people?" We eat meat in Western society, but we've just shut out that part of the process.' Bruce is in Africa this week, where he ventures through Angola's Namib Desert, to spend three weeks living in the Mucubal village of Cavelocamue.
