Most notably, this is the first time that the 805 model enjoys a ‘reverse wrap’ cabinet, where the front and side panels are formed by a single shaped piece of birch ply. This approach has advantages in stiffness and resonance control, both of which are also helped by the addition of a beautifully machined aluminium spine that also houses the high quality, low-order crossover network.
