I am at a loss to know where that year went, but it is once again our Awards issue – the biggest issue of What Hi-Fi?’s year. The clocks have gone back and, before we know it, 2023 will be consigned to history; indeed the next magazine we start working on will be dated January 2024 That’s all a bit depressing in one way, of course. But I always get more than a frisson of excitement when we are sending our Awards issue to press. It is, after all, the culmination of a huge amount of work over the past year – and in particular the past three months or so – from the whole team; and it is a huge pleasure to be able to present to our readers…
