We make it our business to listen to a wide variety of music when we are testing audio products, and that includes dance music.
Dance music (please don’t say EDM) encompasses a real range of music and a whole host of genres – nobody loves sub-genres like the dance-music industry – from deep house to dub techno, drum’n’bass to breaks. We’re new music obsessives here at What Hi-Fi? too, and nothing makes us happier than finding a fresh dance track to have on repeat. And it does tend to be tracks – as more and more artists bow to the algorithm and forgo the full-length LP. Still, as our briefest of lists here proves, there are plenty of great dance music albums still being released.
