HYUNDAI KNOWS A thing or two about building seven-seat SUVs. The Santa Fe, which is about to celebrate its 25th birthday, has long offered good-value transport for big families – and we reckon the latest version is the best seven-seater you can buy. The only problem is you can’t have a fully electric version of it, and that’s where the new Ioniq 9 steps in. Granted, with an expected starting price of £63,000, it stretches the ‘good value’ theme a bit, but these things are relative. It’s likely to undercut the closely related Kia EV9 by a couple of thousand pounds, even though it will be priced well above the Peugeot e-5008. There are good reasons for that, though.
