Dearest you, let’s check in. How is your mental health? What type of content lurks in your mind? Is it mostly non-fiction or is there a lot of storytelling? What is the quality of your thoughts; are they positive, intrusive or incessant? Mental health includes our emotional, psychological and social wellbeing and affects how we think, feel and act. It helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, soothe ourselves and make healthy choices. I’ve been testing the depths of my mental health a lot since becoming a mum. The transition from “freedomhood” to parenthood is really stretchy stuff.
