Jy het in die Kaap grootgeword… het jy toe ook in De Hoop gekuier? Ja, ek het goeie herinneringe aan De Hoop toe ons kleintyd daar vakansie hou het; dit was voor die opknappingswerk in 2007. Die reservaat was nog basies en ek onthou ek het volstruisvere opgetel, perde gestreel en die vryheid van die natuur geniet. Ek vermoed jy was die enigste joernalis by die uitstalling wat vir Glenda Kemp, die bekende slangdanseres uit die 70’s, opgesoek het… Ja, ek dink ook so. Ek was geamuseer deur die toevallige invalshoek van die uitstalling. Gegewe Glenda se legendariese status was dit verbasend maklik om haar in die hande te kry. Ná ’n Google-soektog het ek afgekom op ’n onderhoud in 2019. Glenda het op die ouderdom van 70 ander vroue…
