REIS KWAZULU-NATAL Dis Februarie aan die KwaZulu-Natalse Suidkus en ek kom kyk wat gebeur alles tussen Port Shepstone en Port Edward. Hier is min verkeer, min mense langs die see en ek sukkel glad nie om parkeerplek te kry nie. Ek’s dankbaar (dis immers die stil seisoen), maar kan ook sien hierdie stukkie kuslyn is gewild in die vakansietyd. Die eerste leidraad is die aantal strande met seefrontrestaurante, hoë woonstelblokke, getypoele en promenades. Die roomyswinkels, curiostalletjies, sandemmertjieverkopers en trapbootjieverhuurders by plekke soos Margate en Ramsgate bevestig die vermoede. Ek hou nie van volgepakte strande en besige promenades nie en is bly om darem stiller plekkies soos Trafalgar, Southbroom en Munster te ontdek namate ek verder ry. Dis net meer as ’n uur van Durban na Port Shepstone met die N2.…
