PAYING HOMAGE “So what's with the redheaded Assyrian?” Well, I tell people, there's a story… I am at that age where I have started to lose some of my gaming friends, and of course we have lost some of the people (sculptors) who have provided us with our favourite figures. A few years ago I attended a memorial service for a friend and fellow gamer. It was the family's wish that each attendee leave with some of Dan's miniatures as a way to remember him. During the dark time of COVID I started work on my ‘old school wargames’ projects, using older lines of miniatures from the 1970s and early 1980s.
