This ruleset covers the period of the Mexican Revolution ca.1910–1920. The introduction briefly describes the tactics and weaponry used by the various factions, making an interesting point that many armies were predominantly mounted, which meant the war did not become one of static front lines. Rail transport was key to moving large numbers of troops as most major engagements took place in or around towns and cities. Most infantry fought in loose skirmish formations, and although most armies lacked heavy siege guns and mortars there were many sieges.
