Fun though it is to 'field' the ships, necessity confined us to playing a land-based skirmish for Let's Play, (maritime and amphibious games are also options) and we had a great time doing so. This is a set of rules that works well at the skirmish level: we used the contents of the box with by just a few seamen from our own collections to try out extra options. ACTIVATION The game uses an innovative playingcard-based activation system.
