They would be fully described as crossbowmen suitable for several armies of the early medieval period – that's a bit of a mouthful, so we'll stick with ‘Normans’. The sets consists of six frames each with six torsos, three in chainmail, one in quilted armour, and two unarmoured. Each torso can be built a variety of ways (typically three) and has various head options (over 30!). The models themselves are well sculpted and are easy to assemble – however do keep hold of the instruction guide and read it carefully, as some parts will only fit with a specific figure.
