Described on its cover as a set of rules for “Ancient Greek Mercenary Skirmish Wargaming,” it has a narrow focus and delivers with simple style. The game is written for 1-4 players with 8-12 miniatures per side. You will need a tape/ruler in inches, a bunch of d6, d8, and d10 dice, a deck of regular playing cards, and tokens or coins to represent Drachmae, which are used for both in-game and campaign currency.
