You might recall us mentioning a few issues back that we’d instructed our man in the know, Martyn, to seek out and buy a T5 at auction. It will eventually replace my T25 Westy which I sold last month; I loved that wedge to bits and miss it terribly but to be brutally honest its 1.6D engine was just too slow. Moreover, having just four gears meant I was always trying to change up to a gear that didn’t exist – and that got rather tiring after a while.
