For as long as he can remember, Lee has been a diehard petrolhead. “My dad was a mechanic which probably explains my passion,” he smiles, “I’ve always liked my fast cars and I’ve made my way through quite a few of them over the years.” These include some legendary icons such as a Mk2 Astra GTE 16v, a rare G plate Mk2 Fiesta XR2 and a Subaru Impreza WRX, “later on, I became more sensible with a BMW 330 and a MINI Cooper S”, he says, “but my keen interest in driver’s cars never faltered.” In fact, he had full intentions of spending a sizable wad of savings on a hot hatch. “I’d saved enough to buy a Focus RS,” he recalls, “I planned to use the car during the…
