The problem I’ve always had with awnings is there has never been something that suits my needs and that’s potentially because my needs are always changing and different each time I use the van. It’s why after a good six years of van ownership I’ve never actually owned an awning. I’ve always looked at them and wanted something, but nothing has ever ticked all the boxes for me. I had an idea for something that I wanted to make for the van and got a few parts in, I spent several hours scratching my head and then attempting to stitch something together.
