The side pods; you can get them from a few sources now in the UK, but they are still far from a common sight on UK roads. It’s common to put a bed across the back of a Crafter or Sprinter, but with the standard width van, you’ll be curled up in the foetal position all night unless you’re a bit vertically challenged. The addition of a pair of pods either gives a 2-metre long space for a bed or if you are on the shorter side it gives extra storage space for some shelving of cupboards.
