BERTIES OF BAY

Matt’s business, Berties of Bay was named after his cat and established in his home town of Robinhood’s Bay (hence the name and nothing to do with a bay window camper!) in 2016. He has combined his background in garment design and manufacture with the local tradition of clothing for fisherman, bringing back classic items such as the Gansey with patterns unique to the area. Matthew says, “Our shop is in a stunning location on the Yorkshire coast. We want you all to come and visit us as customers and then return year after year as friends”.
