Hat’s off to Matt for resisting the temptation to facelift his 2005 model. For many car guys, there’s nothing better than the OEM+ look and this T5 smashes it. The subtle bonnet mods would go unnoticed to most but adds a little touch of custom to Volkswagen’s fine work. There will always be a place for wild body kits and metal flake paint jobs, but as long as there are still guys like Matt out there keeping the balance with a cool, retro ride then we say the VW world is all the better for it.
