Transporter take 2

This is my second Transporter project, the first appearing in Issue 72 of VWt. I picked this one up as a bare Panel Van in February 2019, and immediately saw its potential. I couldn’t wait to give it the facelift it deserved, so work started pretty much as soon as I got it home. “It’s practically an obsession” I’m constantly looking for ideas for my Van projects and am always on the ’phone chasing up parts and picking up accessories. It’s practically an obsession. The first job was to remove the wood lining and have middle windows fitted to the body. Next came the soundproofing and insulation, which I fitted with the help of my partner, Julie, who really likes to get involved with my projects – a big bonus!…
