This month I’m going BBQ-free (!) with some zingy taco treats, my go-to favourite on a hot summer day. Remember those?

What no BBQ? Yep, that’s right, I’m throwing a curve ball this month in anticipation of the summer ahead. Actually, this dish is more about my Bloody Mary-themed salsa and chunky, fresh guacamole, which work equally well in a burger or as a zingy addition to a summer salad or pasta bowl. These started out as a side to accompany BBQ meats, but it wasn’t long before we turned to tacos – both soft and crunchy – as they work with pretty much anything, so don’t be afraid to mix and match your fillings and give ’em a try.
