HERE WE LOOK AT the Multivan in Beach clothing. Why Beach you ask. Taking this brochure as the only benchmark, which, of course, it isn’t, the name takes a bow as an oddity. All is okay up to the half-way point. Each picture, including the one on the twenty-page brochure’s front cover, features a T5 with a wide orange band encompassing the entire bonnet, a decent splodge down each side, and a larger one still daubed below the tailgate window. That’s not the important bit though… for now. It’s the background we are interested in. Yes, the sea and sand, glorious blue skies, waves, and wind surfers. Yes, Beach borrowed from us Brits, as a name fits like a glove… However, all is awry from the centrefold onwards, for the…
