VolksWorld heads for Surrey to check out one of the most laid-back events on the late season calendar

Last year saw the long-running Grill-n-Chill event move from Kent to a new location at Osney Lodge Farm in South Godstone, Surrey. This is roughly 15 minutes from Gatwick airport and about a 10-minute drive from the M25, so even more accessible for those in the south of the country than the previous location. In the week running up to the event, the great British summer was doing exactly what it does best – being unpredictable. However, by the time Friday September 13 came around, summer suddenly returned, and it was clear this was going to be an excellent weekend.
