Let me start this feature with a bit of background about Jake, or Sledvw, if you follow him on Instagram or thesamba.com. Jake has been into VWs for a long time and, like many of us, has gone through phases of slamming Beetles and Buses to the floor. If you’ve been around a while, you might well remember his super-slammed Sealing Wax Red Bus that was crazy low before body dropped Buses became a recognised thing. The point is he’s gone through that period. He’s been there, seen it, done it and has decided living with super-slammed cars was something he’d kind of grown out of.
