The CB Magnaspark crank trigger kit is both a programmable ignition system and data logger for use on carburetted, fuel injected or turbocharged VW engines. Logging is done using a Windows-based PC and can be triggered by an external switch or directly through your laptop. The kit features a 36-tooth trigger wheel and T6 aluminium VR sensor and has adjustable load and rpm boundaries, timing control (map-based or alpha numeric) and a 21 x 21 matrix spark table. Provision is made for programming high rpm limit, a two-step rev limit, external fan control, shift light triggering and tach output, while various boost-related extras are available for turbocharged engines via the optional Select-A-Boost kit.
