Tucked away in the historic town of Cambrai, in the north of France, sits a gem of automotive culture: Métal Project, the workshop of Patrice Massines. Though Patrice specialises in restoring older cars, mostly VWs, this is not your average garage. Step inside and it’s like being whisked into a world where past and present collide, where mechanical wonders from another era come back to life. Everywhere you look, there are vintage car parts, unfinished projects and pieces of automotive art. The shop is a shrine to old school craftsmanship, and more than just a workplace, it’s a playground for Patrice’s creativity and passion.
