The samples tested did indeed turn out to be high-impact polystyrene. The material can be worked on with the usual tools and reacts properly to model adhesives by melting and becoming welded, as is the case for other brands. The only obvious difference with competing brands is that part of the references received is coloured grey, rather like plastic kit sprues.
