Couple’s holiday reunion misery

EXCHANGING numbers with people you meet abroad is a summer holiday tradition, as is never getting in touch with them afterwards. But when Colin and Cindy Aubergine struck up a friendship with another couple at their hotel in Cyprus and vowed to meet up again on their return to the UK… they actually did! The Aubergines, who run a dog grooming business in Castleford, West Yorkshire, sat by the pool and chatted every day with fellow hotel guests Harry and Lucy Fibreboard from Huddersfield, and all four got on exceptionally well. “They were a lovely, easy going couple and we all had a great laugh together,” said Colin. “We had drinks with them in the bar, a couple of meals out together, and we all did a day trip to…
