DURING Taylor Swift’s recent Seattle concert, US geologists recorded seismic activity of up to 2.5 on the Richter scale. The so-called ‘Swift-Quake’ was initially attributed to the simultaneous dancing of the huge audience attending the Eras tour show. But now scientists at CalTech have put forward an alternative theory for the tremors. Detailed analysis of Swift’s rider list, which included onion bhajis, pickled eggs and Chicken Tonight, suggests that the tectonic disturbances may have been caused by the I Knew You Were Trouble songbird dropping a massive fart on stage.
