EXCITEMENT MOUNTS FOR DOMINO RECORD ATTEMPT

ALEICESTERSHIRE man is hoping to enter the history books this week with his bid to topple over a record-breaking number of dominoes. CYRIL PITT, 58, has long nursed an ambition to enter the domino-toppling hall of fame after seeing the world record broken as a child. “I remember watching Record Breakers on the BBC and seeing some Belgian bloke toppling over 150,000 dominoes,” he said. “I promised myself that one day I would take that record from him.” However, over the years, Cyril watched the record change hands many times and the number of dominoes toppled double to over 320,000.
