But more than all that - they inspire us with their heroic good deeds. Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie, Jamie Oliver… the list of stars who somehow manage to find time in their hectic schedules to promote, support and donate to a myriad of charitable causes seems literally endless. But is it really? Are these performers who we place on a pedestal as generous as we think they are, or is their philanthropy simply an illusion concocted by their PR staffers? We sent Viz investigative reporter MAHATMA MACAROON undercover to discover whether our favourite stars truly are the big-hearted Samaritans…
