ONE FOR SORROW REDDITCH pensioner Ada Dullard was going to the shop to buy some haslet for her and her husband Frank’s tea, and on the way she saw a solitary magpie pecking at some road-kill. Not being superstitious, she thought nothing of it. But when she got home she found Frank dead of a heart attack on the kitchen floor. “It was definitely a sorrowful event, that’s for sure, and I’m certainly superstitious now,” she says.
