Not-so-silent night THE Christmas Eve carol service from King’s College, Cambridge is a tradition that has remained unchanged for centuries. But it will look a little different this year as, in an attempt to move with the times, organisers have invited US rap-rockers Limp Bizkit to perform alongside the chapel choir. And the nu metal bad boys are sure to set the tone of the evening when they open with their riff-heavy take on Once in Royal David’s City. “It’s going to be an interesting, and I’m sure very enjoyable carol service,” said Provost of King’s College, Gillian Tett. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst will then read the first lesson, after which the band will go into a thrash metal version of The Sussex Carol, arranged by Ralph Vaughan Williams.…
