About Valiant Women - Sarojini Naidu and Usha Mehta
After winning accolades for her poetry and writing, Sarojini Naidu gave up her passion as well as her time with her family to focus on winning India her independence. A meeting with the Mahatma inspired young Usha Mehta so much that she went on to set up secret radio stations to take the words of the leaders to every corner of the country. Even if their stories are different, these women had the same vision for India. The stories of these great personalities are inspirational and strengthening for every Indian, particularly women.
