Penned by Mindy Kaling (The Sex Lives of College Girls, The Office), these 10 episodes run up the score even further with a stellar cast led by Kate Hudson.
With an undeniable appeal and a sly wit perfectly suited to the role, Hudson plays Isla Gordon, a reformed party girl who's unexpectedly named president of her family's pro basketball team, the (fictitious) L.A. Waves. Why now? Seems her brother Cam's (Justin Theroux) cocaine and crack addiction has landed him in rehab. His choice of successor isn't as far-fetched as people think: Isla - in seriously enviable I-mean-business pantsuits - knows the game, and she's not short on allies (Brenda Song stands out as foul-mouthed chief of staff Ali Lee).
