A mystery… I inherited it from my uncle after he’d left it at my grandmother’s house for years and took it down to the lovely people at Mottainai Cycles to get it fixed up. No one quite knows where the ‘Sugoi’ comes from. Going? On my way to work. Why ride? Aside from it being an environmentally conscious choice, I guess I never really got over that childlike excitement when riding down a big hill and gliding through the streets. Every ride feels like a little bit of an adventure. Favourite ride? Anywhere by the water, particularly along the Yarra and Merri Creek.
