And when I say I've used them, I've worn them almost non-stop on and off the hill from the heights of Crib Goch to the daily dog walk, whenever the weather is warm enough. They're more ½ than ¾ length, which for me is the ideal length, and the fit is perfect. I just wish the pockets were a little bigger. VERDICT Hard-wearing shorts for walking, scrambling, climbing, living. I need another pair so I never have to stop wearing them when one is in the wash!
