TIERRA BACK UP JACKET £260 I got this jacket just in time for winter. Not ideal, as the Back Up is a lightweight waterproof better suited to 3-season use. Still, I gave it a whirl and was pleasantly surprised; the Gore-Tex Paclite fabric offers more protection than I expected. But it's spring and summer where the combination of packability, breathability and protection will really excel, and I'm looking forward to testing it. VERDICT Lightweight, breathable, vent-able, and packable – all the things I want from a ‘Back Up’ waterproof jacket during the warmer months.
