It feels like a dream. Is this real? In a narrow gap between the evergreens, I can see finally her. She is just as beautiful as I'd imagined for all these years. Graceful and poised, she is the enchantress of the Alps – a siren with an irresistible allure. Like innumerable other pilgrims, I'd happily walk a thousand miles and battle a hundred thunderstorms just for a second's glance at her elegant, refined beauty. Her profile is unmistakable, shapely curves and chiselled lines in all the right places. Am I in love? I'm admiring the Matterhorn in all her sophisticated glory. She is mesmerising and seductive, as if whispering sweet nothings to me and me alone, or perhaps serenading me with a song of romance. I can't take my eyes off…
